| THE CARBURETORS have since their 2004 debut “Pain Is Temporary, Glory Is Forever” been tearing up every stage they’ve played and set it on fire! You heard right, this five piece from Oslo begin where other better mannered rock bands only duck and run away. They even include unexpected pyrotechnics in their highly energetic live show, with a level of exhibitionism only expected from the masked heroes KISS! And this fits perfectly into their merciless recipe: Fast Forward riffing in the vein of AC/DC as well as leg shakin' Rock'n'Roll smashers with mighty choruses that simply press the pedal to the metal! We don't care what’s coming our way, let’s live now! Since they started, the only way was up for this band, as the single ”Burnout” from their debut album became one of the most heavily rotated video clips on Norwegian TV and with their second album effort 'Loud Enough To Raise The Dead' in 2006 (like the debut only released in Norway) they gained a cover spot on famous Metal magazine 'Scream', and subsequently shared stages with the mighty MÖTLEY CRÜE, JUDAS PRIEST, DEEP PURPLE, MOTÖRHEAD and ROSE TATTOO amongst others. In 2010 they signed a record deal with I Hate People/Evil Wheel Records, a publishing deal with Universal Germany and released "Rock 'n' Roll Forever" world wide. The album title tells all tales already! All in all, the 25 tracks are filled with energy, lust for life and empowering melodies that have been provided with an urgent, vibrant and clear sound by producer Uwe Lulis (Grave Digger, Rebellion, V8 Wankers). The Carburetors are now in the studio once again to record their next killer album which will see the light in May 2012. In between the sessions they will play and fire up festivals and rock clubs all over Europe. And then we have the Eurovision Song Contest... |
